CANNES 2025: With a career spanning cinema and cultural networks, the expert has been instrumental in developing initiatives that bridge the gap between art and diverse audiences
Emilie Boucheteil, Director of Audience and Engagement at Art Explora, presented the foundation’s innovative approach to cultural accessibility during this year’s Marché du Film. With a career spanning cinema and international cultural networks, Boucheteil has been instrumental in developing initiatives that bridge the gap between art and diverse audiences. Central to her presentation was the Art Explora Festival, featuring the world’s first museum boat — a 47-meter sailing catamaran offering immersive exhibitions, developed among others in collaboration with the Musée du Louvre, and artist residencies, aiming to reach up to 2,000 visitors per day. The Art Explora Festival is currently on a Mediterranean tour, bringing art experiences to 15 countries and 20 ports over three years. Boucheteil emphasized the importance of reimagining cultural engagement, stating that initiatives like this are vital in fostering new dialogues and connections across communities.
