We caught up with Slovenian director Urša Menart at the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival, where her second feature, Everything That’s Wrong With You, screened in the Competition Programme – Feature Film. The film stars Anuša Kodelja as Maruša and Klara Kuk as Alja, two young women, each weird in her own way.
As she sorts through everything following her mother’s death, the intense and extroverted Maruša takes off to meet her online friend Alja in a small coastal town in Germany. Their bond is intense and healing for both, but the two soon have to negotiate the challenges of a relationship that has moved from the screen into real life.
