Written by the director with Joris Morio, the screenplay focuses on Joseph, a hip-hop dancer who refuses to work for his father's business, trying his luck in Paris instead. He joins a Parisian dance troupe run by a famous break dancer, Youri, along with his girlfriend Emma and his best friend Karim, in order to try to win an international hip-hop competition. But on selection day, nothing goes as planned. Joseph is betrayed by Emma and Yuri and the group implodes. Picked up by Remi, a former dancer turned teacher, Joseph discovers the world of classical dance and meets the brilliant Chloe, in preparation for the New York City Ballet Entrance Competition. Thanks to this meeting, which results in an unexpected alliance between hip-hop and classical dance, Joseph will find his own as a dancer and leader and become an artist.

Produced by Lionel Uzan for Federation Entertainment, Raphaël Rocher for Empreinte Cinéma and by Pathé Films (who will be managing the film’s French distribution and international sales), Let's Dance has been pre-purchased by OCS and M6 and involved eight weeks of filming in Paris. It’s worth noting that Marion Motin worked on the film’s choreography.

For the record, this is Federation Entertainment’s first dip into the world of film, with TV series such as Le Bureau des Légendes [+lee también:
