MIDPOINT Intensive Lithuania, a professional training programme open to Lithuanian creative teams of filmmakers (scriptwriter, director and producer), has announced the four projects, either first or second feature-length fiction films for their directors, which will take part in a four-day workshop in Kaunas, Lithuania, from 5-8 May.

During the workshop, the teams will work on the creative development of the script as well as on the production aspects of their projects. After the workshop, tailor-made online consultations with their group leader will follow, according to the needs of each project.

Renowned script consultant-scriptwriter David Pope will act as the group leader, and the workshop will consist of group feedback, individual consultations, and plenary sessions and meetings with international decision-makers from the film industry. 

The workshop will conclude with a pitching session to present the participating projects in front of a panel of industry experts. The pitching training will be conducted by Gabriele Brunnenmeyer.

The event is co-hosted by the Lithuanian Film Center.
