The Artekino International Prize, worth €6,000, went to another Greek project, Sofia Georgovassili’s debut feature, Mignon, which is a coming-of-age story about two girls in a renowned 1990s department store whose relationship escalates into some unexpected power play. The project is being produced by Vasilis Chrysanthopoulos, of PLAYS2PLACE, in co-production with Irina Andreea Malcea, of Romania’s Luna Film.

Finally, the EAVE+ Scholarship went to Hungarian producer Judit Stalter, of Laokoon Filmgroup, who was participating in CineLink with Cristina Groșan’s Things Worth Weeping For, which was in Works in Progress and also won the Post Republic Award.

In the CineLink Drama section for TV series in development, the Film Centre Serbia Award went to Sabre by Goran Stanković and Vladimir Tagić. The Serbian duo is best known for Morning Changes Everything, a series that was popular throughout the region and was produced by This & That Productions, the Belgrade-based company that is also behind Sabre (see the news).
