The seventh edition of the Antalya Film Forum, the co-production market and project development sidebar of the 57th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival (3-10 October), will be held from 5-7 October, entirely online. Spanning five different platforms, and introducing one new one intended for series development, the Antalya Film Forum invites 29 projects at various stages of production to come and be presented. Headed up by Olena Yershova Yıldız, it seeks to bring together independent directors, producers and screenwriters from Turkey with professionals from the international film industry, and to create funding opportunities for new and emerging film projects.
In the Pitching for Feature Films in Development platform, eight projects (from among the 60 or so submitted) that are currently at the development stage, and have a director and producer from Turkey attached, were selected to be presented. Two of them will receive cash awards, worth TL 30,000 (€3,400) each, while one more will be given the Film Standartları Post Production Award.

A new pitching category is being introduced this year, the Series/Short Series Pitching Platform, which aims to reflect the growing role and importance of series in the audiovisual industry by identifying new talents and encouraging the development of original and creative content. The platform received 35 submissions in its inaugural year, and six have been selected to duke it out for the TL 30,000 (€3,400) BluTV Award, which will support the production of a pilot episode, and the Color up - Color Correction Award.

In the Feature Work in Progress section, five projects, out of the 16 submitted, will be eligible to win two cash prizes of TL 80,000 (€9,000) and TL 40,000 (€4,500), the TRT Award, valued at TL 50,000 (€5,600), and the Başka Sinema Distribution and Promotion Award.

Also, seven projects will be screened as part of Documentary Works in Progress, and they will be going head to head for prizes totalling TL 60,000 (€6,700) in cash, along with the Postbıyık Sound Post Production Award and the Başka Sinema Distribution Award. The participants are as follows:

Finally, three projects have been shortlisted for the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund, and one of them will end up receiving support of TL 150,000 (€16,750) from the city of Antalya, in addition to a Post Production Award sponsored by Fono Film. The stipulations are that at least two-thirds of the film must be shot in the region, and this footage must be featured in the final cut.
