The final strand of the 12th Les Arcs Film Festival, which is taking place in multiple stages as a result of the health crisis, is the Industry Village, which will unspool online from 20-22 January. The event will organise a plethora of meetings with the teams behind the 18 projects in development that are set to be showcased in the Coproduction Village (see the news). Standing out among them is Chain Reaction (Láncreakció), which will be the second feature by Hungary’s Attila Hartung (who was born in 1991 and who studied under Ildikó Enyedi at the Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest), following FOMO: Fear of Missing Out [+lee también:

Ever since then, we have been living in the constant shadow of ultimate destruction, which shaped our time into what it is now. Leó Szilárd is a man who saw it all decades in advance. Knowing about his life and work will help us contextualise the world we live in now.

Chain Reaction is being produced by Petra Iványi for Filmteam (which previously staged the filmmaker’s feature debut). The outfit currently has Daddy and Other Wolves by Gábor Rohonyi and Csaba Vékes (see the article) in post-production and, in its recent filmography, Liza, the Fox-Fairy [+lee también:
