The 50th edition of the Belgrade International Film Festival FEST (27 February-6 March) ended on Sunday night with an awards ceremony that saw Australian filmmaker Justin Kurzel's Cannes Competition title Nitram win the main prize of the festival, the Belgrade Victor for Best Film. The film's star, Caleb Landry Jones, received the Best Actor gong, repeating his Cannes success. A Special Mention went to another Cannes entry, Aleksey German Jr's House Arrest [+lee también:

The jury, comprising Miloš Biković, Tamara Dragičević (both from Serbia) and Toni Gojanović (Croatia/Germany), plus Greek director Argyris Papadimitropulos and György Ráduly, the director of the Film Archive of the Hungarian National Film Institute, handed the Best Director Award to North Macedonia's Dina Duma for her Karlovy Vary title Sisterhood [+lee también:
