Wallimage is releasing no less than €1.4 million following its 109th session, a sum divided between eight projects, notably the new comedy by French director Dany Boon, Life for Real, which will be the first of his works to be produced by the director’s very own Belgian production company 26DB Productions. The film follows Tridan Lagache, a former fan of Club Med and its paradisiacal beaches, who decides to shake up his life at the age of 50, notably by way of a double confrontation with his teenage love and a wholly unfriendly half-brother. Starring Charlotte Gainsbourg and Kad Merad, the movie is co-produced by Artemis Productions in Belgium and by Pathé in France.

by way of an exciting re-reading of the Three Musketeers, entitled Toutes pour une, which boasts an explosive cast composed of Oulaya Amamra, Lou De Laâge, Héloïse Letissier (aka Chris) and Deborah Lukumuena. The movie is produced by Easy Tiger and Haut et court in France, and by Versus Production in Belgium. And the fund is also throwing its weight behind Victoria Bedos, represented by another Liege-based outfit Chez Frakas’, who is readying Leo et moi, produced in France by Lionceau Films.

The remaining projects awarded support are Maxime Giroux’s Canadian film In Cold Light, produced in Belgium by Gapbusters; the Finnish series Estonia, co-produced in Belgium by Panache, and produced in Finland by Fisher King, in Sweden by Kärnfilm AB, and in Estonia by Amrion Oü; season two of Baraki (produced, as per the first series, by Koko arrose la culture and 10:80 Films); and the documentary series Wallonia Life Science, which is produced by Limited Adventures and La Colline d’en face (Belgium).
