Just one day after the announcement of the members of the Official Competition jury (see the news) of the 75^th Cannes Film Festival (17-28 May), the make-up of the Un Certain Regard jury has also been unveiled. Its chair will be Italian actress and director Valeria Golino, who thus follows in the footsteps of previous chair Andrea Arnold.

Golino will be backed up by four fellow jury members: Polish actress Joanna Kulig, US director Debra Granik, Venezuelan actor Édgar Ramírez and his French counterpart Benjamin Biolay (who is also an author, composer and singer).

The Un Certain Regard jury will be weighing up 20 titles (eight of which are feature debuts and nine are helmed by female directors): 15 were announced initially (see the news), four were added later (see the article), and Mathieu Vadepied’s Father & Soldier [+lee también:
