Brussels is all set to be enchanted by the cinematic wonders of the North. The Polarise Nordic Film Nights has announced the line-up for its third edition, which will take place from 20 January-1 February.

This year's programme is made up of nine captivating films and promises a diverse cinematic experience, including Brussels premieres, documentaries, comedies, drama and the "Best of" the current film season. Audiences can also look forward to visionary shorts and engaging Q&A sessions with some of the talented filmmakers and actresses.

The festival kicks off on 20 January with the Brussels premiere of Paradise Is Burning [+lee también:

, directed by Swedish filmmaker Mika Gustafson. Winner of the Orizzonti Award for Best Director at Venice, this story of sisterhood will be followed by a Q&A session with lead actresses Bianca Delbravo, Dilvin Asaad and Safira Mossberg.

by Norwegian director Margreth Olin, an ode to nature, selected as Norway's Oscar contender and produced by iconic actress Liv Ullmann and director Wim Wenders.

Finally, the festival will conclude on 1 February with a screening of the US production Dream Scenario by Norwegian director Kristoffer Borgli, a joyously twisted film featuring Nicolas Cage as an everyman who becomes famous through the dreams of millions.
