Bestowed upon the best works and artists from the world of French cinema by foreign journalists posted in France, during a ceremony which unfolded last night in Paris’s Forum des Images, the 29th Lumières Awards crowned Justine Triet’s Anatomy of a Fall [+lee también:

The feature film also won in the categories for Best Screenplay (written by the filmmaker together with Arthur Harari) and Best Actress (Germany’s Sandra Hüller). For the record, the film which won the 2023 Palme d’Or in Cannes has been very successful in cinemas (1.3 million tickets sold in France, and already more than that internationally).
