The Council of Europe, home of Eurimages, is inviting organisations to apply to host the three Series Co-Production Development Awards in 2025. Under its Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions, the Council aims to identify organisations that specialise in organising series co-production events. The selected entities will host the Council of Europe Series Co-Production Development Awards. Upon selection, each organisation will enter into a formal partnership agreement outlining the specific terms of collaboration with the Council of Europe. This agreement will apply to a single iteration of the event where the award is presented, with the duration of the agreement spanning from January to December 2025.

In 2025, three organisations will host the Council of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award, each valued at 50,000 Euros. Interested organisations may apply from 3 September 2024, with the submission deadline for applications set at 19 September 2024, 17:00 CET.

The Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions is a funding mechanism of the Council of Europe. The Pilot Programme supports high-quality series structured as international co-productions. Its aim is to strengthen independent producers and foster new collaborations.

With the recent commitment of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Culture of Czech Republic, and the Ministry of Culture and Equality in Norway, a total of 18 countries, represented by 19 ministries and national agencies, have come together to financially support this new opportunity for series producers.

The Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions is a three-year initiative of the Council of Europe, home of Eurimages. It supports high-quality series made as international co-productions and aims to empower independent producers and foster new relationships. Series from Ireland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Lithuania and Estonia have been supported during its latest round (read news).
