After six short films, three of which having been presented in Clermont-Ferrand (La charge mentale in 2023, La voix du père in 2017 and Les chiens verts in 2012), twins Mathias and Colas Rifkiss have made the leap to feature film with La petite Graine, a movie which wrapped filming on 14 September.
The cast stars Sébastien Chassagne (well-received in Yannick [+lee también:

Written by the two filmmakers, the story revolves around Denis and Céline who dream of having a child. As a last resort, after years of unsuccessful artificial insemination, they turn to Piche, an old high school acquaintance who once used Denis as a punchbag and ask him to give them his sperm, because he’s the only one who has ever managed to get Céline pregnant… when she was 17 years old at Églantine Despontin’s party! But the arrival of this hardened and wildly child-unfriendly bachelor in their lives puts their relationship in serious peril...
La petite Graine was produced by Jérémy Chevret (who previously partnered with the duo on La charge mentale) on behalf of Lyon-based firm Duno Films, notably with the support of the Dotimages fund. Photography was entrusted to Romain Fisson-Edeline, while distribution and international sales are currently under negotiation.
