The story, written by the director herself, Anne Berest (the series Mytho) and Gaëlle Macé (nominated for the Lumière Award for Best Screenplay in 2015 for Elle l’adore [+lee también:

ficha de la película] and who previously worked on the first two features by Zlotowski), revolves around Lilian Steiner, a renowned psychiatrist. When she learns of the death of one of her patients, she is deeply troubled. Convinced that it was murder, she decides to investigate...
Vie privée is being produced by Frédéric Jouve for Les Films Velvet and co-produced by France 3 Cinéma. Having been pre-purchased by France Télévisions, Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature also boasts support from the CNC’s advance on receipts, and from the Cinécap, Cinémage, Cinéventure, Cofinova and Indéfilms Soficas. The shoot, which kicked off on 30 September, has been taking place in Paris and Normandy, with George Lechaptois (who has teamed up with the director on all of her features thus far) serving as DoP. The international sales are being overseen by Goodfellas and the French theatrical distribution by Ad Vitam.
