The CEE Animation Experience webinars, now in their third year, have compiled a collection of 36 case studies and master classes, offering a deep dive into the most cutting-edge trends and techniques in animation production across Central and Eastern Europe.
This year's webinar line-up showcases a diverse range of topics, reflecting the dynamic nature of contemporary animation. Highlights include an exploration of artificial intelligence's creative applications, led by award-winning stop-motion director Martin Smatana, and an exclusive look into the recent surge of Hungarian animated features.
Particularly noteworthy is the webinar featuring Bára Anna Stejskalová and Jakub Košťál, who discussed the challenges and triumphs of producing the stop-motion musical 9 Million Colors. Financially supported by the International Visegrad Fund, the Czech Film Fund, the Czech Audiovisual Producers' Association and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, these webinars are freely accessible via Facebook streams and remain available for later viewing.
