Written and directed by Ritchie, Wife & Dog marks his latest collaboration with Black Bear and his longtime producing partner Ivan Atkinson (Wrath of Man). While plot details remain under wraps, the film is expected to delve into themes of deception and power struggles among the British elite—hallmarks of Ritchie’s storytelling style. Production is underway in the United Kingdom, with an extensive shoot planned across multiple locations.
Black Bear launched sales for Wife & Dog at Cannes’ Marche du Film last year, and the project is part of the company’s European Film Market (EFM) slate, where it is expected to generate strong interest. With Ritchie’s established international brand, the film is likely to attract significant attention from distributors across multiple territories. This marks the third collaboration between Ritchie, Atkinson, and Black Bear, following The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and In The Grey.
Produced by Guy Ritchie and Ivan Atkinson under their banner, the film also features Black Bear’s John Friedberg (Ferrari [+lee también:

In addition to Wife & Dog, Black Bear will present several other high-profile titles at the EFM, including Spa Weekend starring Leslie Mann and Isla Fisher, the heist thriller Tuner with Leo Woodall and Dustin Hoffman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s genre film Pendulum from Black Swan writer Mark Heyman, and David Michôd’s untitled Christy Martin biopic starring Sydney Sweeney as the champion boxer. Also on the slate is Gregg Araki’s thriller I Want Your Sex, starring Olivia Wilde.
