was included in Quentin Tarantino’s 20 favourite films of 2010) are promising, by way of Reflection in a Dead Diamond, to take the audience and the jury on an action-mystery journey set on the French Riviera. Starring Italian film legend Fabio Testi alongside Yannick Renier, Koen De Bouw and (another Tarantino favourite) Maria de Medeiros, the film homes in on seventy-something John D who lives in a luxury hotel on the French Riviera and who’s intrigued by his neighbour who reminds him of his wild days in the ‘60s, back when he was a spy. One day, his neighbour mysteriously disappears, forcing John to face up to his demons. In the lead-up to its Berlinale premiere, True Colours has closed deals with Plaion Pictures for the German-speaking territories and Hishow Entertainment for continental China, while Kozak Films closed one for distribution in France with UFO Distribution in Belgium and the Netherlands with Cinéart. The film was produced by Kozak Films (Belgium) in co-production with Les Films Fauves (Luxembourg), Dandy Projects (Italy), Tobina Film (Francia), Savage Film (Belgium) and To Be Continued (Francia).

Another movie gracing the line-up of this firm, which belongs to independent producers Lucky Red and Indigo Films, is an Italian comedy for families called 10 giorni con i suoi by Alessandro Genovesi, which was released in Italy on 23 January via Medusa Film and is currently ranking third at the Italian box office, boasting earnings of 3,192,000 euros. , this sequel wraps up the trilogy revolving around the Rovelli family, which was produced by Colorado Film and which once again stars Fabio De Luigi and Valentina Lodovini as the lead couple, joined by Dino Abbrescia and Giulia Bevilacqua.

A title striking an entirely different note is docu-movie Liliana, directed by Ruggero Gabbai, which looks back over the testimony of the senator for life and activist Liliana Segre, focusing on her deportation to Auschwitz and the heartbreak of saying goodbye to her father. The work was presented in a premiere in Rome Film Fest and released in Italian cinemas in January via Lucky Red, to coincide with Holocaust Remembrance Day. Monica Stambrini, meanwhile, is the director behind another documentary in the line-up, Hold On Miss! Isabella Ducrot Unlimited [+lee también:
