The film journalists associated with the SNGCI - whose annual awards ceremony took place last night in Rome’s MAXXI venue - named Francesca Comencini’s feature-length movie Best Film, paying tribute to the director’s moving exploration of her relationship with her father, fellow director Luigi Comencini. The film also won Best Screenplay, as well as trophies for actors Romana Maggiora Vergano and Fabrizio Gifuni, and for casting directors Laura Muccino and Sara Casani: five prizes overall.
