emerged as the big winner at the 41st edition of the Amanda Awards, held on Saturday evening in Haugesund as part of the 53rd Norwegian International Film Festival (16-22 August). The film collected four trophies out of its nine nominations, including Best Norwegian Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Actor in a Leading Role for Helga Guren, who impressed audiences and critics alike with her performance as Maria.
