CinEuro, the cross-border network bringing together the Grand Est region (France), Northern Switzerland, Baden-Württemberg (Germany), Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany), Saarland (Germany), Luxembourg, Brussels-Capital (Belgium) and Wallonia (Belgium), has launched the “European Stories” call for its CinEuro FilmLab. The initiative is coordinated by screen.brussels, the ASA, the ARRF, the Grand Est region and Film Fund Luxembourg.
The programme is open to feature-film and series projects (lasting 30 or 50 minutes) that tackle European-related issues and are set in the symbolic places of power where the EU institutions are based, such as Brussels, Strasbourg and Luxembourg.
Up to five projects will be selected for a year-long support scheme including script doctoring, pitching training and industry meetings, with final pitching sessions taking place at BRIFF 2026 (Brussels) and the 2026 Forum Alentours (Strasbourg).
To be eligible, participants must reside in one of the partner regions, and have at least one professional fiction credit with institutional funding and distribution, and the submitted project must be optioned by a production company based in France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium or Luxembourg.
The deadline for applications is 22 September 2025, with selected projects to be announced on 31 October 2025.
