One of the pillars of NEM Zagreb, which will run from 8-9 December, the NEM Awards return for a fifth edition to celebrate excellence in television projects originating from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and beyond. Entries remain open until 11 November for two strands – Best Finished TV Series in the CEE and Best Pre-development TV Series in Europe – with all submissions to be evaluated by a board of seasoned TV professionals spanning commissioning, production, acquisitions and screenwriting.
The first confirmed jurors are: Emmanuel Eckert (independent producer), Krisztina Gallo (producer, 318 Productions), Nataša Buljan (fiction development director, United Media), Lenka Szántó (creative producer, TV Nova/Oneplay), Alexandra Gabrižová (programme coordinator and consultant, MIDPOINT Institute’s series programmes), Filip Bobinski (producer, showrunner, CEO, Dramedy Productions), Marie Roussin (writer, producer, showrunner), Blanca Escoda Agusti (script consultant, Decoding Stories), Neus Rodriguez (script consultant), Danna Stern (global content executive), Carlo Dusi (founder and managing director, Turning Point Pictures), Maria Kivinen (director of Sales and Co-productions, Norse Key Studios), Erik Pack (SVP, Global Co-production, Boat Rocker Studios), Kelly Alchanati (head of Fiction and Entertainment, Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation – ERT), Todor Ignatov (head of Cinema and Foreign Programmes, Bulgarian National Television) and Caroline Levy (series producer, Playground Entertainment).
As with previous editions, the Best Finished TV Series in the CEE category will be assessed by top AV-industry figures from outside the region to ensure impartiality in the ranking of titles.
Joining the NEM Awards jury for the first time, Carlo Dusi – known for series such as Taboo and features like The Aftermath [+lee también:

I am delighted to have the opportunity to join this year’s jury and dive into the plethora of projects selected for the awards, and can’t wait to be wowed by the talent on show.”
Contenders already confirmed across the two strands include Bionaut, Raketa and Canal+, Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT), Bulgarian National Television (BNT), ERT SA – Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), Suspilne Ukraine and Mir & Co Production, Telewizja Polska (TVP), TV Nova/Oneplay, TVN Warner Bros Discovery and Viaplay Group.
NEM – New Europe Market is organised by Mediavision, the Croatian marketing and TV-industry agency. Traditionally staged in Dubrovnik, the initiative expanded to launch NEM Zagreb in 2019, with the latter dedicated to creativity in television. Full details on accreditation, deadlines and prices are available on the official NEM Zagreb 2025 website.
