Eurimages has unveiled a new set of calls for proposals to select its partners for the 2027-2029 period, as part of its ongoing Strategy on Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (GEDI). With the current partnership cycle drawing to a close at the end of this year, the fund is seeking to identify festivals and industry initiatives that share its core values and objectives for the next three-year term.
The calls reflect Eurimages’ sustained commitment to advancing gender equality, diversity and inclusion across the film and audiovisual sectors, while also strengthening the visibility of the fund’s activities within the international industry landscape.
Among the opportunities available, festivals are invited to apply to host the Eurimages Audentia Award, created to encourage women filmmakers in the continuation of their careers. The award provides additional financial support for a director’s next project, based on the quality of the film presented at the selected festival. Through this initiative, Eurimages aims to collaborate with high-profile events capable of upholding its quality standards and amplifying the award’s impact.
In parallel, the fund is also calling for initiatives eligible for Eurimages sponsorship within film and audiovisual events that actively promote gender equality, diversity and inclusion. Eligible activities may include ad hoc projects, training schemes, mentorship programmes, conferences, residencies or other industry-focused events. Selected initiatives will receive co-funding and benefit from association with Eurimages, provided they align with the fund’s mission and contribute to increasing awareness of its work.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 15 March 2026. Full details on eligibility criteria and application procedures are available on the Eurimages website.
