Presentation & Philosophy:
Founded in 2019 by Stefano Muroni and artistically directed by Alessio Di Clemente, the Florestano Vancini School of Cinematographic Art in Ferrara places the individual in its entirety at the center of the course. During the three-year period, students are led to study, get to know each other and collaborate with each other, even outside the classrooms.

Number of students/ full-time/ part-time workshops:
There are currently 160 students divided into four study paths. The duration of the school is three years and attendance is daily.

Degree category / length of studies:
The courses offered by the school are exclusively three-year courses and are divided into the following four directions: acting, directing, screenwriting, editing and post-production. Each year there will be exams which, if passed, will lead the student to the following year.

Program objective and structure:
In addition to the programs of each course, 120 hours of theory per year are added, divided into: History of Italian cinema (60 hours), History of cinema painters (30 hours) and Multimedia languages (Creation of a web series and communication of cultural heritage 30 hours).

School Information:
The school has active agreements with the Venice, Cannes, Berlin and Giffoni festivals. Cultural exchanges with schools in other countries, in particular with training centers in Athens, Warsaw and Los Angeles. Stable collaborations with Rai and Sky.
