MEN WHO SAVE THE WORLD

by Liew Seng Tat

synopsis

In a whimsical little Malay town, the villagers unite to help Pak Awang to physically move an abandoned house from the jungle into the village as a gift to his soon-to-be-married daughter. But what they didn’t know is that an illegal African immigrant on the run has found the house and decided to hide in it. When the village junkie gets a glimpse at a black shadow moving in the house and confuses it for a ghost, the villagers suddenly fear that its relocation has enraged an evil spirit and refuse to move it any further. A series of wild mishaps ensue, leading to false accusations and wild situations.
