SOUTH IS NOTHING

by Fabio Mollo

synopsis

When you are seventeen, you question everything, destroy who you are, and start looking for your definitive self. That also applies to Grazia, who lives in Reggio Calabria with her brother’s ghost, whose death is shrouded in silence. It is time for her to overturn a situation that threatens to trap her. One night, after arguing with her father, she goes into the sea; there she sees a figure, which she recognizes as her brother. She interprets it as a sign to keep pushing her father into revealing her the truth.
