SOGNI DI GLORIA

by Collettivo John Snellinberg

synopsis

The movie is made up of two episodes. Giulio, a thirty-year old worker on redundancy payment, is tired and embittered and his anarchic colleague convinces him to get unbaptized. Giulio's religious family is outrage when they find out this disgraceful decision. Giulio, a Chinese student who lives in Italy, makes friends with Maurino, an older card player who lives in Prato. He teaches Giulio the pleasure to play cards, and he teaches some things about life, too. It is the beginning of an unexpected journey.
