The story begins in Havana, at the end of 1958. Martin Losada is a spanish republican, 42, who just left the jail after ten years. The reason...? He stole a bank in Barcelona in order to get money for the Republican cause. Once in the street he discovers he has no friends, no relatives and no country, at least under the rules of Franco. So he decides to go to Cuba to find his best friend: Albert Dalmau. The only one who escaped from the bank robbery ten years ago.
