synopsis

Madai, Shanel, Rosmer, and Victoria have been forcibly displaced from their homes, and after a long and dangerous migratory journey in search of a better future in the United States, their dreams are shattered. However, their paths cross at an LGBTQ+ shelter in Guatemala City, where they receive support, protection, and, most importantly, forge a deep friendship. Together, they discover their inner resilience and find new opportunities to rebuild their lives, holding onto the hope that, despite the challenges, the future offers them a fresh start.
