The film centres on a couple of actors who have just broken up and are playing the role of two passionate lovers, a young suicidal singer, a depressed writer, a tyrannical dancer, a surly technician and a crazy member of the audience. All these different people and feelings come together at the Festival d'Avignon, in this tragicomedy about the vagaries of love, creation and meteorology.
