synopsis
L’architecte Alexander Beck a remporté un prix avec un ambitieux projet de restructuration d’un quartier de HLM en préfabriqué en Thuringe. Il quitte Francfort-sur-le-Main pour se rendre dans la province est-allemande. Des pâtés de maison doivent être démolis ou modernisés, un lotissement en préfabriqué va recevoir selon ses plans un nouveau visage. Pendant son séjour, ses souvenirs le ramènent en 1988, à l’histoire de la fin tragique d’une amitié.
