Celebrating its 9th edition, the CROSSROADS Co-production Forum is announcing its call for entries for its next event, which will take place during the 54th Thessaloniki International Film Festival in November 2013.

The event’s goal is to support the producers of feature-length fiction film projects from the the Mediterranean, Central and South-eastern Europe regions.

Qualifying features should be produced or co-produced by a country in this area or contain story elements from the aforementioned regions. Mediterranean and European producers with a feature film script are given the chance to encounter a new network of financiers, co-producers and leading industry specialists.

Each year the Crossroads Jury gives an award to the best Crossroads film project:

a co-production award with the Two Thirty Five company, providing complete image & sound post-production services. The producer of the winning project is also granted a Producer’s Network accreditation for the 2014 Cannes IFF.

A second prize will be awarded by the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC), worth 7000 euros cash.

Sofia Meetings will select a project that will participate in their next session in March 2014 and the MFI (Mediterranean Film Institute) is offering a scholarship to its Script 2 Film Workshop for one of the projects. Also, Initiative Film is offering development consultation to a Greek project of its choice.

All submissions must be received by July 31st, 2013. Click here for further information.
