For the fourth time, Sala Web is offering the unique chance to view a selection of films from the 72^nd Venice Film Festival, taking place from 2-12 September, online. Reaching out from the Lido to an audience stretching all across the globe, the line-up offers 15 world premieres: 12 feature films from the Orizzonti Competition and three features from the Biennale College.

In parallel with the festival taking place in Venice, Sala Web will showcase these films in collaboration with Festival Scope in an online screening room. The screenings will be hosted by Festival Scope on behalf of the Venice Film Festival via a secure site, with digital tickets to the screenings being limited to 400 per film. 

Alongside strong female voices from Iran with Vahid Jalilvand’s Wednesday, May 9, the selection of Venice Sala Web includes films by established filmmakers such as Algerian director Merzak Allouache (The Rooftops [+lire aussi :

Tickets for the online screening can be bought in advance through Festival Scope for €4 per film or with a Festival Pass (five films for €10), as the box office has already opened. The films will be screened at 9 pm EST on the day of the screening at the Venice Film Festival and are available online, worldwide, for five days.
