Within the frame of its Eye to Eye initiative supported by the Audience Development scheme of the Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme, Wide will launch films on video on demand at the same time as their theatrical and festival screenings in Spain, Croatia, the United Kingdom, Ukraine and France. Eye to Eye has a strong ambition to develop a business model encouraging bridges between VoD platforms, festivals and cinemas with the aim of attracting new audiences to independent cinema.

In Spain, one film selected at Seville European Film Festival (From Caligari to Hitler by Rüdiger Suchsland) and two films selected at Gijon International Film Festival (Dora or The Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents [+lire aussi :

Director Tamar Van Den Dop will participate in a Q&A and a masterclass about the process of making a film and debate with teenagers about what makes them go to cinema. Supernova will be proposed simultaneously than its screening at Zagreb Film Festival on MAXtv online platform.

 directed by Ricky Rijneke will be the last film of the Eye to Eye season to be screened at Somerset Film’s Engine Room on 26 November. Rijneke’s film will be available simultaneously on the VoD platform of FilmDoo.
