What takes you five minutes? Making a hot drink? Checking out social media? Maybe reading a few pages of that book you never seem to finish? Why not change your usual routine by taking five minutes out of your day to take part in the Cineuropa/Filminute Five-Minute Challenge? This is the chance to watch five brilliant European short films that all clock in at exactly 60 seconds.
Cineuropa has chosen five very different European short films – from punchy comedies to dramatic war stories – that will vie for the Cineuropa/Filminute Audience Award. All you need to do is to find a spare five minutes, watch the five films and then vote for your favourite.
Then, choose your favourite one by sending an email to filminute@cineuropa.org by midnight on Friday 26 October, with the name of your chosen film in the subject line. The film with the most votes will receive the Cineuropa Audience Award as part of Filminute 2018.
And remember – you can see all 25 films that are taking part in Filminute 2018 by clicking here. Don’t forget to watch, rate, vote, comment and share!
