Shariff Korver’s new project, a suspense-drama entitled Do Not Hesitate [+lire aussi :

fiche film], world-premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2014 and starred Nasrdin Dchar in the lead role. That flick revolved around the vicissitudes of a Dutch police officer called Sam, the son of a Moroccan family who is tasked with infiltrating a drug cartel.

Korver’s new endeavour, penned in its entirety by Jolein Laarman (Among Us [+lire aussi :

In detail, the plot follows three young soldiers who are left to guard a military vehicle by themselves after the sudden disappearance of their superior. As their situation and the scorching desert heat renders them increasingly disconnected from reality, an encounter with a local boy escalates into a fight that will mark their lives forever. Do Not Hesitate is being produced by Erik Glijnis, Leontine Petit and Emily Morgan for Amsterdam-based outfit Lemming Film, Dutch public broadcaster NTR, and Konstantinos Kontovrakis and Giorgos Karnavas for Greece’s Heretic. Judy Tossel is Lemming Film’s executive producer. The project is also being backed by the Netherlands Film Fund through the Film Production Incentive, the CoBO Fund, the Greek Film Centre, EKOME and Creative Europe - MEDIA. September Films is in charge of its distribution in the Benelux, while the international sales have been entrusted to TrustNordisk.
