The 2021 edition of the New Nordic Films will run both on site in Haugesund and online from 24-27 August, and the leading industry event has announced its Work in Progress selection (read the news). At the 16th edition of the Nordic Co-Production Market, a selection of 21 projects will be presented to accredited professionals on Wednesday 25 August.
Among the selected projects are Four Little Adults, the new film by Finland’s Selma Vilhunen (Stupid Young Heart [+lire aussi :

Known for his documentary projects, Swedish filmmaker Mads Hedegaard is bringing a story set in the Stone Age and revolving around a 16-year-old girl in his debut feature Stranger, and In Twilight of the Gods, French-born, Sweden-based Morgane Dziurla-Petit focuses on an 18-year-old girl who is attracted to an immigrant kid in a hostile village of Western Sweden.

fiche film]), is the first film spoken in Skolt Sámi and tells the story of a woman who faces immense pressure to forsake her Sami origins, while Love Acts by rising Faroese director Anton Petersen follows a stormy affair between two women and The Nix by debutant Swedish writer-director Niclas Gillis is a folklore horror story set in the 1800s about a woman who gets seduced by a forest spirit.
