NEM Zagreb, an event focusing on creativity in the television industry relevant to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, which will take place in Zagreb from 7-9 December this year, has announced its guest list.

The Croatian event will gather representatives of free-to-air television stations, pay-TV channels and streaming services, as well as producers, directors, actors, screenwriters, production groups and other content creators. These leading television professionals from Europe and beyond will discuss industry trends and present their latest projects in the Content Showcase, the central part of the event’s programme.

The confirmed speakers include: Frank Spotnitz (CEO and executive producer, Big Light Productions), Moritz Polter (managing director and executive producer, Windlight Pictures GmbH), Emmanuel Eckert (deputy director, Acquisitions, Mediawan), Anna Rohde-Seyfried (content editor, Beta Film), Robert Šveb (general director, Croatian Radiotelevision - HRT), Danna Stern (founder, Yes Studios), Grégoire Polad (director general, Association of Commercial Television and Video on Demand Services in Europe), Hayley McKenzie (founder and CEO, Script Angel), Jonathan Broughton (head of Strategy, EBU), Ankica Jurić Tilić (film producer, Kinorama), Guy Bisson (executive director and co-founder, Ampere Analysis), Maria Rua Aguete (executive director and technology fellow, Omdia), Denis Karam (archive producer, Zig Zag Productions), Ivana Miković (managing director and co-founder, Firefly Productions), Matej Lončarić (director of Video Operations and Media Brands, JoomBoos, Miss7 at 24sata), Marike Muselaers (financing, co-productions, acquisitions and business development, Lumière) and Nebojša Taraba (producer and partner, Drugi Plan).

The speakers will share their professional experience and knowledge at presentations and panel discussions, which will be announced along with the full NEM Zagreb schedule in November.

Besides speakers’ presentations, NEM Zagreb will present original content during the Content Showcase, a central segment of the event. Various projects will be presented that may be at any stage of the process - from the initial idea to financing or actual broadcasting.

The event is organised by Mediavision.
