The 13th D'A - Barcelona Film Festival is holding the third edition of the D'A Film Lab Barcelona from 25-30 March. It is a programme aimed at promoting film talent and enabling the completion of feature films in the post-production phase and encouraging their international distribution. From the six projects selected in the Final Cut, a jury of experts will choose the best one, which will be awarded 20,000 euros. Also, this year the laboratory has gained new momentum with an additional line of work: the D'A Film Lab Barcelona - Emerging Catalan Production, dedicated to supporting Catalan production companies with first projects in development.

The selected projects will receive comprehensive support from international experts, advisors and programmers. There will be pitching sessions, one2one sessions, workshops on sustainability, project internationalisation, financing, sales and markets and case studies. The aim is to explore the potential of each film, to help find audiences and to guide independent filmmakers in navigating the network of markets and creative forums.

In addition, the D'A Film Lab has a collaboration project with the Porto Post/Doc festival to hold a Co-production Meeting on 29 and 30 March in Barcelona, aimed at working on film production lines between Spain and Portugal. Finally, the launch of Marketing & Audience Days has been announced, which will bring together professionals associated with TorinoFilmLab and EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) to develop workshops on marketing tools, development, audience research and eco-sustainable practices.
