). She has now orchestrated this female thriller reflecting on the weight of guilt and how the friendship of a group of friends evolves over the years.

It tells the story - inspired by the novel of the same name, published in 2018 by the Alicante writer Elia Barceló - of a group of women whose stable, successful lives are suddenly shattered as the human remains are found of one of their high school classmates, who disappeared during their end-of-year trip to Mallorca twenty years ago.

The series is a dramatic thriller written by its director along with Miguel Sáez Carral, Adrià P. Xancó, Lucía Carballal and Estíbaliz Burgaleta. Playing the main characters, Roquet has used a competent and famous cast made up of Elena Anaya (this year in the series Fleeting Lies [+lire aussi :

The filming of its six episodes finished a few days ago after 13 weeks on location in Elda, Benidorm, La Falla de Moraig, Denia, Altea and Madrid. And for Sofía Fábregas, Vice President of Original Production at Disney+ Spain, "this is a commitment to the undisputed talent of a creator like Clara Roquet, and to a team and a first-class production company like DLO. It is our first original thriller, backed mostly by female talent, in front of and behind the camera, and is a major step forward in our slate of projects."

Las largas sombras is a Disney+ production from DLO Producciones (José Manuel Lorenzo).
