On Saturday, the international jury of the 62nd Gijón International Film Festival (FICX), made up of Belén Funes, Sergio Oksman and Mark Peranson, handed out a slew of prizes in the Official Section – Albar Competition. Best Feature Film was won by By the Stream, directed by Hong Sang-soo (South Korea); the AISGE Award for Best Actress went to Kim Minhee for the same film; and Abou Sangare was awarded Best Actor for his role in Boris Lojkine’s Souleymane’s Story [+lire aussi :

The prizes of the Semilleru Lab, FICX’s industry programme, were also announced. Out of the projects in development, the SEMILLERU Lab Asturias Paraíso Natural Film Commission Award (for a gross amount of €4,000) went to La Isla by Ismael Sordo. The SEMILLERU Lab (Post)Production Award was given to Moon in Scorpio by directors Aizpea de Atxa and Maria Corriàs.
