So far, the film’s only confirmed star is Gal Gadot, who recently appeared in the much-debated live-action version of Disney’s timeless fairy tale Snow White. The actress is also set to appear in cinemas soon in Julian Schnabel’s star-studded seventh film, In the Hand of Dante, currently in post-production, alongside Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Gerald Butler, Sabrina Impacciatore and Al Pacino, among others.
The Runner is described as an adrenaline-driven thriller, where a high-powered attorney must race through London in order to save her abducted son. Gadot’s character will be following cryptic commands from a mysterious and anonymous caller.
The project, first announced in November 2024, is being shot over the spring in London. Rockwood Pictures has a development deal with Amazon UK, and Amazon MGM Studios holds the distribution rights to the movie.
