fiche film] expands upon the short film Votamos, shot in 2021 and directed by Santiago Requejo, which tackled the prejudices against people suffering from mental illness. Since its premiere, the short film has won over a hundred awards at film festivals worldwide, has been nominated for the Goya Awards and has been shortlisted for the Oscars in the category of Best Live-Action Short Film. Now comes its expanded version (read more), written and directed by the same filmmaker, who also enjoyed theatrical success with this same story adapted for the stage.

fiche film]), tells the story of how, in a building in the centre of Madrid, a community of neighbours meets to vote on changing the lift. However, the news that a new tenant with mental health issues is going to rent the apartment from one of the landlords comes as a shock to the meeting.

fiche film], earned him a nomination for Best New Director at Spain’s Cinema Writers Circle Awards and another at the Forqué Awards in the category of Cinema and Education in Values. His second film, I Can't Live Without You [+lire aussi :

fiche film], which has been available in more than twenty countries on Netflix, reached number 1 in the top ten of non-English language films.

All in Favor is produced by Carlos Sanz and Santiago Requejo himself for 02:59 Films and David Naranjo and Gonzalo Gilsanz for Pris&Batty Films. It is also supported by the Regional Ministry of

Culture of the Community of Madrid. Its sales are managed by Studio TF1 Distribution, and it will be distributed in Spain by DeAPlaneta, which plans to release the film on 13 June.
