LIM (Less Is More) continues to expand its pan-European development network with the announcement of its 2025 Development Angels. Created in close collaboration with LIM’s StoryTANK think-tank, this initiative is designed to foster a new generation of professionals who can provide creative, structured and emotionally attuned support to fiction writers in the early stages of story development.

This year’s 12 Development Angels will participate in an intensive online workshop followed by a residential session at Le Groupe Ouest, ahead of the LIM MEET industry event. There, they will apply their training in real time by supporting selected filmmakers and contributing to LIM’s culture of feedback. The selected professionals come from diverse backgrounds, including fiction and documentary production, festival coordination and audience engagement, and are all committed to rethinking how stories are developed and supported in Europe.

Nan Davies is a Welsh producer at One Wave Films, focused on fiction and documentary projects with a strong editorial and creative vision. Andreia Nunes, based in Lisbon and working with Wonder Maria Filmes, brings a background in activism, and has co-produced award-winning shorts and green-certified features. From Denmark, Anna Dammegaard Søllested recently launched her company Sub Rosa to support bold fiction storytelling after her experience as a producer at Snowglobe. Representing Spain, Lara González Lobo coordinates CineMart at IFFR and produces politically engaged fiction with a focus on social impact.

Dermot O’Dempsey from Ireland, working with Shudder Films and Mother Tongues, was the development producer of Kneecap [+lire aussi :

fiche film], and engages with fiction, animation and documentary. Sven Spur, based in Belgium and part of Animal Tank, is a director-producer working on immersive and live-action projects at the Oscar-nominated company. Italian-Danish producer Giulia Triolo, from Snowglobe, produces international features and has a background in arthouse cinema across Europe and Latin America. In Germany, Virginia Martin, of Contando Films, focuses on inclusive, socially conscious cinema and is a Locarno Open Doors alumna.

Baptiste Bertin, from France and working with La Onda Productions, is a producer and former acquisitions executive focused on unique auteur voices and formal innovation. Noah Bohnert, boasting a background in European co-productions, works in Switzerland as a creative and service producer for his own company, Swiss Films, and, since 2021, for hugofilm features. Natalia Pavlove, based in the Czech Republic and running Other Stories, is a producer of internationally acclaimed features and co-productions spanning Europe and Africa. Finally, Seda Turan from Turkey, representing Sis Films, is an Istanbul-based producer championing female-driven and underrepresented narratives.

With this new cohort, LIM reinforces its mission to reshape development through collaboration, trust and emotionally intelligent feedback practices.
