The Agora Works in Progress section of the 66th Thessaloniki International Film Festival (30 October-9 November) has revealed its eight selected projects, once again spotlighting emerging voices and daring cinematic forms from across Europe, the Mediterranean and beyond.
This year’s line-up reflects the diversity and creative ambition that define the Agora’s industry activities, featuring politically engaged narratives, realist dramas, absurd satires and genre-bending explorations of various topics. Together, they embody a strong commitment to independent storytelling and distinctive visual identities, offering a preview of bold films soon to make their way to the international circuit.
Agora Works in Progress thus continues to serve as a vital platform for filmmakers in the final stages of production, connecting them with sales agents, festival programmers and potential co-producers from around the world.
