fiche série]) described her latest work as “a film that shows respect for the viewer as an adult able to come to his or her own conclusions. […] This respect is a way of honouring critical thinking,” she continued, making mention of a society in which “reflecting and discussing make us more human and less obedient”.

fiche série], created by Rafael Cobos, Fran Araújo and Alberto Rodríguez, picked up the Award for Best Fiction Series. It zooms in on the Spanish coup d’état of 23 February, based on the novel by Javier Cercas, whom producer José Manuel Lorenzo mentioned, adding how grateful he was to the rest of the team before signing off with a dedication to young people “so that this series will enable them to understand how difficult it was to secure the freedoms we enjoy today and how important it is to fight to preserve them”.
In the acting categories, a statuette was also handed to José Ramón Soroiz for Best Actor in Maspalomas [+lire aussi :

In addition to those mentioned above, the 31st edition of the Forqués gave the Award for Best Documentary to Flores para Antonio by Isaki Lacuesta and Elena Molina, a posthumous tribute to legendary musician Antonio Flores by his family and those closest to him.
