T-Port va lancer TalentBridge, une formation hybride pour les réalisateurs débutants

Cet article est disponible en anglais.

Online short-film market T-Port has unveiled TalentBridge, a new training programme aimed at emerging filmmakers, supported by the Creative Europe – MEDIA programme. Designed as a flexible and inclusive initiative, TalentBridge will blend online and offline formats, offering participants practical insights into film distribution, career development and industry networking.

The programme will give filmmakers the choice between an affordable one-off online workshop and a more immersive in-person experience. In total, TalentBridge is expected to reach more than 200 participants over the course of the year, addressing an area of professional training that has often remained underserved within the film sector, particularly for filmmakers with limited access to festivals and industry events.

The online component of TalentBridge is conceived to ensure affordability and ease of access for professionals who are unable to travel. Building on T-Port’s established international network, the programme will feature a curated menu of online workshops held throughout the year. Sessions will be led by T-Port’s co-founder and managing director, Amos Geva, alongside invited industry experts, and will focus on the practical realities of film distribution and networking, with the aim of strengthening participants’ industry knowledge and supporting long-term career development.

Alongside the online activities, TalentBridge will also include a series of in-person workshops hosted at key international festivals and markets. These sessions will take place at Cannes and Clermont-Ferrand, as well as in Lithuania and Cyprus, offering participants the opportunity to combine hands-on training with face-to-face networking in major industry settings.

Filmmakers interested in applying for either the online or the in-person training can find further details on T-Port’s website.
