Diciotto nuovi progetti irlandesi saranno a Cannes con un occhio gettato alle vendite internazionali, e fra questi Ondine di Neil Jordan (rivenditore: Paramount Vantage), Perrier’s Bounty di Ian Fitzgibbon (Hanway Films), The Race di André Nebe (High Point Media Group) e The Eclipse di Conor McPherson (Magnolia Pictures).

L'Irish Film Board (IFB) sarà all'Irish Pavilion, aperto dal 13 al 22 maggio. Gli eventi di quest'anno prevedono un panel sulla Section 481, la reception di IFB e Culture Ireland, un panel sul festival, uno sugli accordi di vendita e una reception irlandese-neozelandese.

Nel Pavilion sarà presente un desk informativo (con personale dell'IFB) che fornirà informazioni sulle compagnie irlandesi e i loro delegati, i film irlandesi e le co-produzioni proposti al festival, un bar e una terrazza sulla quale saranno servite bevande e snack, spazi per incontri, servizi di messaggeria per i delegati registrati e accessi multipli ad internet e wi-fi.
