, and set to grace screens soon in Lola et ses frères and La lutte des classes). In the movie, the screenplay for which was written by the director himself, Bedia plays a doctor who is plunged into the chaos of a civil war. The storyline is billed as halfway between war chronicle and political thriller.

Produced by Sarrazink Productions (the director’s own company), Terminal Sud will be co-produced by Arte France Cinéma and Les Films du Lendemain (Kristina Larsen) with support from the CNC’s advance on receipts, and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Occitanie regions, where shooting will continue for eight weeks. Some filming is also scheduled to take place in Algeria. The French distribution will be handled by Potemkine Films.
