The 11^th edition of the CinEast Central and Eastern European Film Festival will take place in Luxembourg City from 4-21 October. The programme of the gathering was unveiled on 25 September by artistic director Hynek Dedecius, during the traditional press conference organised in Luxembourg City’s Cinémathèque. On the menu this year are no fewer than 65 features and 50 short films, hailing from 20 European Union member states.

scheda film] by Olmo Omerzu. The International Jury, which will be tasked with handing out the Grand Prix and the Special Jury Prize, comprises director Bence Fliegauf, actress Arta Dobroshi, Luxembourgish director Govinda Van Maele, actress Astrid Roos and director Sergej Stanojkovski.

Among the guests are Polish actress Magdalena Popławska, Romanian screenwriter Razvan Radulescu, Slovenian director Janez Burger, Polish filmmaker Urszula Antoniak, Estonian producer Ivo Felt, Latvian helmer Janis Nords, Bulgarian director Milko Lazarov and Serbian filmmaker Ognjen Glavonić.

In addition to the screenings, there will be film debates and concerts, photography and movie-poster exhibitions, screenings for young audiences, and a focus that intends to shine a spotlight on Latvian cinema.
